Must find a new home
I quit using the Google Toolbar when I switched to Firefox since it had a little search box in the browser. After checking out the most recent version, which is now compatible with the Firefox 1.5 Beta that I'm running, I once again have added the Google Toolbar to my browser. In addition to being able to do any kind of Google search (web page, images, etc.) it has built in spell checking for any web forms such as posting a message or creating a blog entry, it has an auto-fill function which can automatically fill in personal info for you so you don't have to type your name and address every time, and some other pretty nifty features. Head over to the link above and check it out for yourself!
Google continues to draw us into thier web. DO NOT BE TAKEN IN BY FALSE PROPHETS SAYITH THE LORD!. Google has to be planning something, no one does all this stuff for free, they going to wait untill we are all comfortable and dependent, then BAM, pay us 1000 bucks or no more e-mail, toolbar, chat, wifi, etc etc.

AWESOME. I really missed that toolbar.

I love my Google toolbar!

Well, I am sorry to say that I was disappointed with the toolbar. It didn't offer anything I don't have on firefox (except page ranking, which isn't useful to me), and it messed up my firefox autofill and password thingy. So I regretfully uninstalled it.

Hmm, weird. Autofill worked great for me, although I also don't use any other autofill plugins or anything. I prefer the toolbar spell checker by far over the Firefox plugin though. Especially since the spell check plugin doesn't seem to play nice with Firefox 1.5 beta. Oh well! Sorry it didn't work out for you! Just love to spread my geeky joy!

Oh, I think the google autofill would have worked great if I wasn't already using the firefox option. I never tried google spellcheck so I don't know what I'm missing (which is probably for the best).

Ohhh! I do indeed use Firefox's built in autofilling stuff too, so now I'm even more baffled. That's technology for you!

I've only noticed Google's autofill messing with my Firefox autofill on one site so far, but it bugged me, so I went into the options and just turned off Autofilling while keeping the other Googly goodness! Just thought you might want to know that you can just disable that one feature if you wish!

Don't know if you have seen the google video service yet, but it's pretty cool.
