Damn downstairs neighbor
Can't stand us playing Rock Band
Must find a new home
So I've been working on my voice demo, preparing to send it to agents and hopefully begin my climb to being a working actor in Austin. Check it out here if you like, and give me your opinion. I actually mean that too. I don't mean "praise and compliment me" unless that's your honest opinion.
It was good once I got into it. The ending? Inspired.
I had all these things to say, and then I listened to it again, and most of them went away. I think because I initially didn't know what to expect. But the first one was a good gradual type introduction. And I like the way they blended/went from one to the next. Not to mention that fact that you're rather freaking talented.
So, while I don't have much to compare it to, I'd say it's solid, dude. [up]

I'd say your Ozzy could be more gravelly, but I really want to hear you sing "Crazy Train" now.
What?
Good variety, surprised you didn't do a Hispanic or Romantic accent or a New Yawk thing.

That was me up there.

Our computer is being difficult, so I've not heard the entire thing (yet) but as it slowly loads, I've got to say that I'm enjoying the variety of voices you're presenting. (HEE!! "This is Mike Tyson.") [up]
I take it that you're often hired by the local radio stations to help them do spots? Or do the clients do the hiring? How long have you been doing this sort of thing?

Most of those are either commercials or promos for my show back when I was a mid-day DJ for a couple of years. I'd record the promos like "This is KEith Richards and you're listening to Heath Allyn..." etc. Commercial production was part of our job too after we got off the air.

Good lord. If Heath and I combined genetic code, we'd create some hideous post-modern Rich Little.

...well, except of course for the fact that Rich Little isn't funny.
